Checkout this thoughtful article by Gordon Laxer, a University of Alberta professor of political economy. His plug is for signing out of NAFTA, keeping Canada’s oil in the Canadian market, reducing Eastern Canada’s imports and reducing consumption. All of his suggestions seem pretty sane to me. Thoughts?
